Bass Day 2024 at Hitsville U.S.A.

9/7/2024 - Motown Museum received a good and enthusiastic turnout for the 11th annual Bass Day event, which was created by Kern Brantley, an American bassist from Detroit, MI. It was a day of camaraderie, connections and stories between bassists of varying skills and experiences but all talented musicians coming together to honor and enjoy classic Motown tunes and the great bassists that helped create them and those that help keep them in the forefront.

SGF's owner and top technician, Phil, received an invitation to jam along with fellow bassists and full house band, and as he arrived it was stated that he was 'going to win best dressed' that day!
